Meet Bindi 🐾
I'm an Old English Sheepdog — which is funny because I'm not old, I'm not English, and I've never even MET a sheep.
I didn't always have a home. For a while, I lived at a rescue. It was noisy. Lots of barking. Big dogs. Loud dogs. Dogs who had opinions about EVERYTHING. I made myself very small. (Which is hard when you're this fluffy.)
Then my mom found me — and everything changed. Now I have a couch (that I'm not supposed to be on), a yard full of squirrels (who don't pay rent), and a family that thinks I'm perfect. (I am.)

🐑 About Old English Sheepdogs
The Old English Sheepdog (OES) is one of the most recognizable — and lovable — breeds in the world. Known for their shaggy double coat, bear-like shuffle, and goofy personality, these gentle giants were originally bred in England to drive cattle and sheep to market.
Despite their name, they're not actually that old as a breed (dating to the early 1800s), and they weren't always from England either. What they ARE is loyal, playful, patient with children, and absolutely hilarious.
- Size: 60–100 lbs, 21–22+ inches tall
- Coat: Dense, shaggy double coat — requires regular grooming!
- Temperament: Gentle, adaptable, playful, sometimes stubborn
- Lifespan: 10–12 years
- Good with kids: Absolutely — nicknamed the "Nanny Dog"
- Exercise: Moderate — daily walks + play, but also champion nappers
- Nicknames: OES, Bobtail, The Dulux Dog, "Walking throw rug"
OES are increasingly rare — fewer than 300 are registered with the AKC each year. That makes rescue and responsible breeding more important than ever.
